About

My name is Ziffer Zifan Peng (彭子帆). I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Financial Technology at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). I obtained my Bachelor degree from Zhejiang University in 2021 and my Master degree from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2022.

I am co-supervised by Prof. Xinlei He, Prof. Xuechao Wang, and Dr. Yingjie Xue. My current research interests lie in Trustworthy AI, Human-Centered AI, and DeFi & Blockchain. Recently, I have also been exploring safety and privacy for embodied AI.

Our paper NL2Repo-Bench was accepted to ICML 2026, studying long-horizon repository generation for coding agents.

Our paper JALMBench was accepted to ICLR 2026, focusing on jailbreak vulnerabilities in audio language models.

Two papers, CHASM and SuperGPQA, were accepted to NeurIPS 2025, covering covert ads detection and large-scale LLM evaluation.

Our paper Unsafe LLM-Based Search was accepted to USENIX Security 2025, analyzing safety risks in AI-powered web search.

Our paper Cross-Chain Options was accepted to ICWS 2025 as a regular full paper on bridgeless DeFi primitives.
